Farmer's Market

I'll get back to tales of settling in later. Today I woke up at 8:30, showered, and then headed out to a farmer's market in Cerritos.
I spent $10 on parsley, mint, peaches, squash, cucumbers and bell peppers, and then another $10 on hummus, tzatziki and pita chips. I really like the tzatziki, but it gave me the worst garlic breath (still have it one toothbrushing and mints and gum later), and the hummus isn't so good, so I don't think I'll get that again. Although, the pita chips are super yummy!

I didn't see any cherimoyas or pawpaws or guavas, sadly. There are some other farmers markets tomorrow, I might go look at those. Although I did see a ton of avocados for $0.80, and they looked nice, but I don't eat much avocado so I didn't get any.

There was also a fish stall, and the stuff looked nice but it was all kind of expensive - $10 a pound sort of deal.

I got a bunch of different squashes to try, and I'm not quite sure what some of them are.

Any ideas?

And check out my supercool peaches:
